Clock Requirements
A reliable clock must be visible to every candidate. It must show the actual time and be large enough for everyone to read clearly. Countdown clocks are not permitted.

Display Board Information
A board or flip chart must be visible to all candidates, showing the centre number, subject title, paper number, and the exact start and finish times for the exam.

Seating Arrangements
Seating must prevent candidates from overlooking others' work. The minimum distance from the centre of one chair to the centre of the next must be **1.25 metres** in all directions.

The official JCQ "Warning to Candidates" and "Unauthorised Items" posters must be displayed in a prominent place outside each examination room.
