Introducing…Comms By Examscreen!
Hello everyone, here’s a short (ish) note from me as we all stagger towards half term.
A big welcome to all our new Examscreen users, and thank you to everyone for their enthusiasm for the new tools we launched this term. We have one final one to share with you – Comms by Examscreen – that we had expected to be released early in 2026, but we’ve managed to push it through so you can trial it during your mocks!

Comms By Examscreen
Comms is the new messaging app for exams staff and invigilators, which was born out of my own frustration at having to use generic tools such as WhatsApp and group texts during exams. Comms replaces unwieldy group chats with focused, direct communication that doesn’t distract invigilators unnecessarily and which minimises both the flow of messages and the use of phones to only what is essential. From your desktop or mobile device, you can send instant messages, create group or individual channels, assign and track tasks for your core team and roving invigilators, flag messages as urgent, and receive immediate confirmation that messages have been seen, all without using anyone’s private phone number. Sign up for a 30-day free trial – after that it’s just £55 per year per school.

Comms is the latest in our pick’n’mix offer of affordable or free exam tools for schools. I know from my own experience that running exams is tough and that many of your schools are under financial pressures. Everything we do at Examscreen has these two things front and centre. Find out more about Access, Roadmap, My Big Year, Courses and The Exam Man podcast at our hub site, Examscreen Extra.
Wishing you a restful half-term break when it arrives!
Best wishes,
John
